中間市の名所といえば、市内最大の都市公園である「垣生公園」がまず上げられます。自然が多く残り四季折々の植物が生い茂っています。池に架かる赤橋を渡ると、埴生（はにゅう）神社の境内に通じています。また、県指定文化財の「垣生羅漢百穴」もここにあります。これは、古墳時代の横穴群集墓です。垣生公園は桜の名所として知られており、3月末頃には中間市の三大祭りの一つ「筑前中間さくら祭」も開かれ、花見客でにぎわいます。

Crossing the Akahashi bridge over the pond leads to the precincts of Habu Shrine. In addition, the prefecture-designated cultural property “Kakisei Rakan Hyakuana” is also located here. This is a horizontal hole crowd tomb from the Kofun period. Habu Park is known as a famous place for cherry blossoms, and around the end of March, one of the three major festivals in Nakama, the Chikuzen Nakama Sakura Festival, is held and is crowded with cherry blossom viewing visitors.
