茨城県の福岡堰（ふくおかぜき）は水面（すいめん）にうつる桜（さくら）で知られています。堰（せき）とは小さいダムのことです。その近くの『さくら公園』は桜のトンネルで有名で、毎年たくさんの観光客（かんこうきゃく）が訪れます（おとずれます）。春の暖かさ（あたたかさ）の中で散歩（さんぽ）やピクニックをするのは最高です！ときどき、カヌーやカヤック、SUPを楽しむ人たちもいます。福岡堰は、筑波大学（つくばだいがく）から車で約20分です。
Fukuoka Zeki weir in Ibaraki prefecture is known for magnificent sight of sakura cherry blossoms reflected in the water. Zeki/Seki means small dam structures in Japanese. Sakura Koen, a park nearby is famous for tunnels of cherry blossoms, and invites many tourists every year. Nothing quite like walking and picnicking in the warm spring sunshine! You may also spot people enjoying canoeing, kayaking or standup paddle boarding. Fukuoka Zeki weir locates 20 mins from Tsukuba University by car.
